You are surely familiar with the biblical story of G-d appearing to Moses at the foot of Mt. Sinai in a bush which was burning in fire but not being consumed. This was the first time G-d revealed Himself to Moses, giving him the mission to take the Israelits out of Egypt.

What was the message of the bush burning in fire but not being consumed?

Moses was worried that the Egyptian exile might consume the Israelits altogether. G‑d showed him a fire which burned but was not being consumed, saying to him: “Just as the bush is burning and is not being consumed, so nobody will not be able to destroy Israel.”
